were written for the Koran from second, third and fourth hand accounts. In
reality, the Koran is mostly just another hodge-podge of historically
inaccurate, paternalistic, mythology from both the Old and New Testament and
his early Pagan religion. His historical inaccurate knowledge of the Old
Testament is probally tied to his frequent business intercourse with Jews
during caravan travels to Jerusalem. Not able to read or write, he had to rely
on memory for his knowledge, whether from everyday experiences or from his
perceived messages from on-high. He confuses many Bibles characters as to when
they lived. Moses and the great flood are happening at the same time. Many O.T. events that were centuries apart, are indicated as if they took
place at the same time; i.e., he claims to have met with Jesus, Moses and
Abraham; that Abraham lived in Mecca, not Hebron; and, that Jesus was actually
Moses’nephew.
As a businessman, Mohammed’s math wasn’t very keen either. The Surah that deals with Inheritance Law, even though it
came from that know it all, Allah, just doesn’t add up. It sets the proportionate rule to divide up a deceased persons
property and then purposes to give out more that the sum total of the estate.
Many, of the other Surahs are flawed also. One Surah points to Allah believing
in a flat earth; another that the sun sets in a swamp; and it states in
another, Surah 10:5, "Allah made the moon a light.” Surah 2:34, states that "widows are to remain apart for 4 months and 10 days.” Yet in Surah 2:40 "widows are to remain apart for a year.” Surah 18:89-98, states that The Greek warrior, Alexander the Great was a
Muslim. Alexander lived 356 - 323 b.c., over 900 years before Mohammed had
established his religion. Surah 2:29, states that "Allah created the earth then
the heavens.” Surah 79:27-30, states the opposite, "Allah created the heavens then the earth.” Many Surahs were added to cancel out previous ones to fit Mohammed’s changing sexual lifestyle. We could go on and on with the numerous errors and
corrections of previous Surahs that were made to the Koran; but, like its major
rival, the Bible, its just an amalgamation of mythology, tribal customs,
ancient Pagan rites, tribal vindictives, and previous religious source/
writings, all thrown together to form a rule of religious law designed to
control the masses with a very heavy hand. A heavy hand that sometimes grasps a
stone, and sometimes wields a sword.
In 610 a.d. Mohammed began to preach his new religion in the city of Mecca. He
would name his new god after the Pagan god of his youth; Allah, the god of the
moon, god of war and the god of the sword.
In 622 a.d. Mohammed fled Mecca when the cities residents did not take kindly
to his defaming their peaceful tribal religion. Elders of the city of Medina,
which was about 250 miles to the north, had previously
contacted Mohammed about moving there and becoming that city’s leader. Now, fearing violence in Mecca, and under the cover of darkness, he
and his band of followers bolted to the city of Medina. There, he would base
his new religion, Islam. There, he would plot revenge against Mecca, the city
that had rejected his new religion.
In January of the following year, Mohammed’s gang attacked a group of traveling merchant’s from his own tribe, stabbing them all to death. They plundered the goods and
Mohammed took a one-fifth share. Two months later, in March, another caravan of
70 merchants from Mecca was attacked even though it had army protection.
Mohammed’s band of 300 killed more than 200 men and took around 70 prisoners. The value
of the merchandise taken was valued at more than 50,000 Gold Dinars. The
prisoners were ransomed for cash and those prisoners who didn’t meet the ransom demand were beheaded. The warriors each shared in the booty
and the ransom and Mohammed took his one-fifth share. Mohammed would lead 27
military campaigns and plan 38 more during his remaining years. His new
religion of peace had begun. It was a very profitable venture for both Mohammed and his Muslim
brothers.
Not every one, though, agreed with his militant actions. A young poet, living
in Medina at the time, Asma bint Marwan, had the audacity to criticize the
murderous actions of Mohammed and his roving band. Mohammed was furious when he
heard her critical verses. Screaming at his band of warriors, he said,"Will no
one rid me of this daughter of Marwan?” That night, a band of Muslims broke into her house. She was nursing her newborn
while her other children slept. The terrorists tore the baby from her breast
and butchered it. After that she watched in horror as they murdered her four
other children. She was then gang raped and stabbed to death. When the murders
informed Mohammed, he reportedly said, "You have done a service to Allah and
his messenger, her life was not worth even two goats.” One month later, another respected elder and poet was also murdered for his
criticism of Mohammed.
Mohammed died in 632 a.d. Immediately, two rival Muslim groups formed to assume
the now vacant leadership position. Sunni’s wanted Mohammed’s hand picked successor, Ali bin Abu Talib to assume the position. Shias wanted
Mohammed’s close cousin to carry on for Mohammed. Guess what? Like the centuries old
myriad of other religious conflict’s, fourteen centuries later, succession is still in dispute.
Internal conflicts aside, Muslims began their worldly conquests and by year 700
a.d., they had spread east as far as India, and westward encompassing most of North Africa. Twenty years later they would con
